Terms of Sale and Service

Our main legal document that governs both the use of our services and the purchase of subscriptions, licenses, and other offerings. Includes detailed information about subscription plans (Community, Pro, Team, Enterprise) and their limitations.

• ✅ Can: create account, use Exegol as specified in your plan, cancel anytime
• ❌ Can't: use for illegal activities, share account credentials, use Community (i.e., free) plan commercially, can't resell/repackage/etc. without separate agreement (i.e., commercial exploitation)
• ⚠️ Must: be 18+ or supervised by a parent/guardian, comply with export laws
• 2️⃣ Seats: Pro max 2 (1 license = 1 machine); Team up to 5 with floating licenses; Enterprise for more (subteams & RBAC)

End User License Agreement

The license agreement that governs use of the Exegol Suite Software, including Exegol Workstation (wrapper, images, resources), Exegol Studio, Exegol MCP, Exegol Sentinel, and related components. Studio: install is free; some features need Pro, Team, or Enterprise; redistribution and forking are not allowed; Studio is not under the ESL.

• ✅ Can: install and use software for personal use, use commercially with Pro/Team/Enterprise plan, install Exegol Studio from the Marketplace, Open VSX, or an official VSIX
• ❌ Can't: share software with others, redistribute or fork Exegol Studio, reverse engineer except as required by law
• ⚠️ Important: no warranty provided, use at your own risk; Studio feature gating follows your Exegol plan, not a store purchase

Software License

Governs the use of our open-source components that declare the Exegol Software License (ESL), including the transition from GPL3, and restrictions regarding commercial use or exploitation. ESL does not apply to proprietary software distributed without an ESL declaration.

• ✅ Community use: personal, educational, non-commercial only
• ⚠️ Commercial use: allowed with Pro/Team/Enterprise subscription for your own business operations (e.g., pentesting, bug bounty, auditing, red teaming, internal training, etc.)
• ❌ Commercial exploitation: strictly prohibited without separate written agreement (reselling, managed services, repackaging)
